Wi-Fi Detector

Cuando pulsamos el botón "DETECT" del WIFI Detector de EDIMAX, este nos muestra inmediatamente las señales WIFI 802.11b/g dentro de su zona de cobertura. El LCD nos mostrara información detallada de las señales activas y por cada señal: SSID, nivel de señal, que tipo de seguridad (si alguna esta habilitada), el numero de canal, que tipo de network esta disponible (infraestructura o Ad-hoc) y también el nivel de batería para que sepamos cuando tenemos que recargarla. Cuando el nivel de batería es bajo, la batería se puede recargar fácilmente conectándolo a cualquier puerto USB del ordenador.
Descripción de los iconos del LCD:
1. Canal Operativo: indica el canal operativo de la señal WIFI detectada.
2. Numero de AP's Detectados: El numero de la izquierda indica que señal detectada estamos viendo y el numero de la derecha nos indica el numero total de señales WIFI detectadas.
3. Indicador de Encriptación: "WEP" para encriptación WEP, "WPA" para encriptación WPA, y "WPA2" para encriptación WPA2 y "OPEN" indica que la señal no esta encriptada.
4. "G" indica que la señal Wireless es 802.11g. "B" indica que la señal Wireless es 802.11b.
5. El indicador de señal de 5 barras indica la señal Wireless.
6. "In" indica que la señal es en modo infraestructura, "Ad" indica que la señal es en modo Ad-hoc.
7. El indicador de batería de 3 barras nos muestra el nivel de carga, cuando el indicador esta vació, cargue la batería a través de un Puerto USB de su ordenado.
8. Indicador SSID: Nos muestra el SSID de la señal WIFI detectada, si el SSID es muy largo el indicador del SSID se moverá de derecha a izquierda para mostrarnos el SSID completo.?

Este detector WIFI también es un adaptador Wireless USB que cumple con los estándares IEEE 802.11b/g y soporta conexiones de red Wireless de hasta 54Mbps.
Por seguridad, este soporta encriptación WEP de 64/128/256-bit que protege tu red Wireless. Wi-Fi Detector
When you push the scan button on the Wi-Fi detector, it will immediately display detailed information about any 802.11b/g wireless network such as SSID, signal strength, what kind of security (if any is enabled), the current operating channel and also what kind of network is available (infrastructure or Ad-hoc). The LCM with backlight also displays the number of access points you can connect to and battery indicator so you know when it needs to be recharged. When the battery power indicator is low, you can easily recharge the built in Li-Polymer battery by plugging it into any USB port on your computer.

WLAN USB Adapter
This Wi-Fi Detector also acts as a WLAN USB adapter which complies with IEEE 802.11b/g standards and supports up to 54Mbps high-speed wireless network connections. It is suitable for any laptop or desktop computer for user to go online wirelessly.
For security, It supports 64/128/256-bit WEP data encryption that protects your wireless network from eavesdropping. It also supports WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) that combines IEEE 802.1x and TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) technologies.
